this is the free album by gorillaz, recorded and produced on on ipad. there was quite a lot of beeps on this album, which is sort of expected, but it also sounds like a very complicated album, with so many effects all over the album.

after listening to about half of the album, it is actually quite boring because there's mostly mindless beepings, zoopings and effects going on, other than some droopy singing. it's not ambient, it's hypnotising by boring and dizzying sounds.

nevertheless, for an album recorded and produced on ipad, it's not bad. it's not shoddy work, quite the opposite actually. the simpler the tool, the harder you try to add in more stuff to cover up the simplicity.
